Black Cherry Collection

Cherry wood is sourced from the burl of fallen trees from my childhood farm and is processed and milled by myself. Wood is sanded with fine grit sandpaper and finished with tung oil.

Contigos Collection

A fun collection of different woods and stones, on top of a collage of bits of sterling flatware, all to create this fun little Frankenstein. These are all meant to act as amulets for the everyday or hard times, or both. These “Contigos”, meaning “with you” are here for those times you need to find comfort in uncertainty, to gain familiarity with pain.

Nature's Velcro

This series of sculptures were made in Paonia, Colorado during my residency at Elsewhere. I delve into a realm where the ancient whispers of the material meet the vibrant pulse of life. Each sculpture I create embodies a convergence of past and present, where the figures within the wood are on the cusp of awakening, as if reclaiming their essence from the very fibers of the material. The figures emerge with a sense of vitality, their contours and expressions evoking a profound sense of presence and authenticity.
