Artists Elisabeth Arzt and Kevin Thompson explore myth, transformation, imagination and inner worlds through sculpture, painting, photography and mixed media. In a rapidly changing world where familiar structures, identities and systems are increasingly unstable, the artists look to myth, storytelling, humor and imagination as ways of processing uncertainty and questioning the rules we inherit. Arzt’s ebonized wood sculptures, wood jewelry, articulated Copperbots and brightly painted Primordial Eggs draw on ancient mythology, folklore and imagined creatures while reflecting on a world increasingly shaped by technology and AI. Thompson’s work explores nature, dreams, identity, spirituality and the unseen inner world. Together, their work considers how stories from the past can help us recognize patterns in the present—even as the scale and speed of change may be unlike anything we have experienced before.
With Gratitude, Always
I wouldn’t be creating the artwork that brings me so much joy without your support—and for that, I am forever grateful. Every piece I make is not just a reflection of my vision, but a shared journey with the people who believe in the power of handmade craft and storytelling. Your encouragement allows me to keep exploring, experimenting, and evolving as an artist. Thank you for being part of this creative path.
